For this week, I have two Fun Challenges for YOU

Two Challenges for you; Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and Leading Vulnerably.
Imposter Syndrome

1) Recognize Imposter Syndrome

2) Lead Vulnerably

During these times I catch myself going inward and creating self-doubt. Does that resonate with you at all? We may want to step on a stage (or virtual platform…), or go for that new opportunity, or create a new product line… whatever the case may be, and yet we become paralyzed with fear because we worry that we’re not good enough—that we are imposters! Well, that’s nonsense. In fact, maybe it’s just a way to squirm out of our real responsibilities… Watch the short video below for more encouragement.

I believe in you. And the world needs you to believe in you!!!

In taking the stage or the next step, be authentic and vulnerable; lead vulnerably.

When you lead vulnerably, you are creating a genuine and safe space to give and receive feedback. And, it makes you relatable and connected to your audience. It doesn’t need to be a big presentation. It could be a simple conversation with an employee, boss, committee, family member, or friend.

Check out my newest blog post for more on this subject – I talk about my first engagement with Navy Special Operations. I also provide a few links within the blog if you’d like more on the subject.

And, please take note that July 24 is self-care day. (I have a purposefully light schedule that day, maybe there’s still time for you to do that, too?!) Honor yourself and your journey. Make it a great week!

How to Get Over Imposter Syndrome

Have you ever felt like you don’t belong? Like your friends or colleagues are going to discover you’re a fraud, and you don’t actually deserve your job and accomplishments?

You might be suffering from IMPOSTER SYNDROME

You might be surprised to know that many people, including many people you’d never suspect, suffer from Imposter Syndrome.

I believe in you. And the world needs you to believe in you!!!
